E-commerce experts expect the next 5 days to be the busiest of 2008 - as last minute shoppers take to the Internet.
Here are a few tips on how you can optimize your AMPkeywords.com campaign to turn those shoppers into sales!
Tip #1
Pick Better Keywords.
Targeting your ads to the right audience is key for success in Pay Per Click advertising. Think like your customer. What brand names are they looking for? What are some of the words you would find on the websites that they visit? Enter these terms as keywords to make sure that your ad is targeted to where your customers are online.
Tip #2
Update Your Ad Copy
Does your ad copy simply inform or does it grab your customers by the lapels and drag them to your site? The best ads show, don't tell. And make sure to include a call to action. Here's an example:

Outdoor Furniture
Durable Patio Beauty. See
Low Prices on Top Brands.
Great Ad:
Dazzle the Neighbors
But Don't Tell Them about our Low
Deck Furniture Prices. Buy Now!
Tip #3
Deep Link to Your Product
Why drive traffic to your front door, when you can put customers right in front of the product they are looking for? Create different ads for each of your best selling products and set the target URL as the product page for that specific item. The more relevant the landing page is to the ad copy, the more you will sell.
