Special Report: Improve Your Ads And Double Your Sales
We have studied the AMP Keywords advertisements that lead to the most sales and want to share the "best practices" we found with you.
There are two things all advertisers can do to improve the effectiveness of their ad campaigns.
First, set your ad's Landing Page to a specific item. We found that this simple change leads to sales twice as often as traffic that is sent to a store's front page. While there are great reasons to send traffic to a general page (branding, for instance), if your goal is to close a sale immediately after receiving the click, you will have the best results if you link directly to the item you are selling.
The second tip concerns Ad Copy - the title and description that users read when they see your ad. Again, the key with Ad Copy is to be specific when describing the item you are selling. This goes hand in hand with setting your Landing Page to a single item. If your Ad Copy accurately describes the item your ad links to, the chances that the person who clicks on your ad will be interested in buying your product improves dramatically.
Review your ads today to make sure they are linking directly to items, and that your ad copy accurately describes what you are selling. Taking a few minutes to make sure that your traffic is qualified and directed to the right webpage will help turn your advertising dollars into more sales.
